Nintendo has officially announced the availability of the DSi for North America. Making its US debut on April 5th, 2009, the Nintendo DSi will come in matte black and matte blue colors, priced at $169.99. (expensive... o.O) Just to recap, the DSi is 2.6mm thinner than its predecessor, boasts a 0.3-megapixel camera, an SD card slot, and two 3.25-inch screens.

Hopefully the community will release homebrew on the Nintendo DSi like what they did with the Sony PSP. Homebrew is the best ability a portable console can have and my PSP can play most games that are impossible to play. (Playstation, GBA, GB, GBC, N64, etc.) I hope I will be able to obtain this new update on the DS. My DS is currently the 1st version (old school lmao) and it's a good thing that I waited after the LITE. (which I think is pointless update on the DS) I can't wait to experience the features of the DSi. ^__^

No joke in April Fool's Day computer worm

The program could delete all of the files on a person's computer, use zombie PCs -- those controlled by a master -- to overwhelm and shut down Web sites or monitor a person's keyboard strokes to collect private information like passwords or bank account information, experts said.

I finally got it! I was the first one to get it where I live. The launch was at 9:00 am so I went. :D I'm gonna play it all day! ^___^

It has been confirmed that it will be released on March 22, 2009. It's tomorrow! Today, I checked my nearby GameStop and asked the cashier about the launch. He said it's gunna open 2 hours before the regular shop opening. :) So, I'll be there at 9:00 am.

Useful Free PC Software

CCleaner - Link
A useful tool for your PC to help get rid of crap that's left on your computer by installers, temp. files, and other crap you don't ever use. Basically frees up hard drive space for you.

Spybot Search and Destroy - Link
A very good spyware cleaner and destroyer. Gets rid of most common infections and helps keep your computer health by preventing bad things from happening. Although it's best to use this with Spyblaster.

Spyblaster - Link
A spyware preventor. The best in it's league. Prevents bad spyware from ever being installed. Most of the time spyware is installed while surfing the internet, this little software will stop it from happening. Only downside is you have to pay money to autoupdate, but you can manual update for free.

AVG Free Anti-Virus - Link
Probably the best free anti-virus you can have. Even though it's missing features that Norton and other paid anti-viruses might have, if you use this anti-virus alongside Spyblaster and Spybot you'll have pretty much the same protection as the rest of the other competition. But best of all it's all free. All these softwares use very little resource so having them all installed won't slow down your computer at all.

CCCP - Link
This has no relation to the USSR. It stands for Combined Community Codec Pack. It's probably the best codec pack out there and will help you play anything. Included inside the install file is also Media Player Classic which is probably the best player for playing movies and other video files. Very small and very quick.

The long process of my car is finally finished. I'm legal to drive it now and everything is set. The tires were swapped, oil changed, and smogged. The DMV issued a new license plate too. I went to Radio Shack today and picked up a cassette adapter for my car. My car has a cassette slot so I can insert the adapter and connect it to my iPod. I avoided spending at least 100$ or more for installation. I spent 21$ for this and it's convenient. :)

Yeah. I got my first car! 97' Acura Integra. :D Did a deal from craigslist. The owner sold it cheap for $3700. Normally, those cars would be sold around $5000 or more. The car was in great condition. The exterior is well taken care of even the interior. The headlights and taillights are modded. The engine is stable and it's working well. I need to take it to the shop for oil change and for some fixes. One taillight doesn't work and there's a minor oil leak in the front. Hopefully I would be able to drive this car this week. We have to go to the DMV for finances/insurance and what not. Yay for my first car! I hope I could mod it in the future maybe.
